THE LIGHTER SIDEA woman was walking down the street one day carrying a brown box in her arms. The top of the box was punched with holes. Her friend saw her and approaching her asked:
"Freida, what's in the box?"
"Oh,nothing much, it's just a cat," replied the woman.
"But what are you going to do with the cat?" Frieda pressed a little further.
"Well," replied the woman, "do you remember my telling you about all the mice that are running around in my basement at night?"
"Yeah, I remember," said Frieda, but what's the cat for?"
Growing impatient, her friend said, "Frieda, the cat is going to kill all the mice in the basement!!"
Frieda rolling her eyes skyward, "But those mice are in your dreams. They aren't real."
To which her friend replied, "Neither is the cat."
