Noisbursts
A noiseburst is basically when a machine goes crazy and makes a huge load signal (an enormous number). This is bad news for reverbs and stuff, as they will basically make that loud noise "ring out" for a long time (like a reverb does with any other signal), and might even make values in the reverb overflow so it goes mad and makes noise forever. Try a limiter. Try a clipper too. Anything to stop the number from being so big. Try a cheapo fixer pro.
