You'll get quite accurate information about the tuning. After that you can use the Tunaman to adjust the pitch or use the finetune parameter on some Buzzsynths. C-Tuner indicates approximately 0 when in tune. Get C-Tuner VST here --- Change the base note level (usually C4, C5, C6, etc) in the lower left corner of the wavetable with the correct sample highlighted --- My loop or wave isn't playing back at the right speed ? Try to use one of the looping generators in buzz or use an external program for timestretching loops to fit your BPM --- Arugulles aka Arguru genz, tb4004, guru3, etc, tend to be slightly out of tune. Hd Pro-5+ will get out of tune, simply because it has so many parameters to adjust pitch. --- Machines often have detune, finetune, transpose, cents parameters that help adjust pitch/tune --- http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio/autotune.htm tunes samples (not realtime buzz like ctuner) --- FSM Tunaman Try the Matilde Tracker. U can use this in the pattern editor to finetune your sample: E5/xx - Set finetune 00 = -1/2 halfnote, 80 = 0, FF = ~+1/2 halfnote --- If you set the sampling rate below 11025Hz in the wavetable, it takes the value 200000Hz. This can avoided by setting a double of the needed samplingrate (if 8000Hz is needed, set it to 16000Hz) and playing it an octave lower (C-3 instead of C-4). If you need C-4 to correspond to sampling rate of 8000Hz just set the rootnote to be C-5 instead of C-4 and set the sampling frequency to 16000Hz. If even lower sampling frequencies (below about 5517Hz) are needed you can quadruple (4x) the needed sampling rate and play two octaves lower (or set the rootnote two octaves higher). You shift octaves in the pattern editor using the grey +/- keys |
