Using Midi Files in Buzz

Buzz2Midi - will create .mid from your .bmx
M2Buzz - will create .bmx from your .mid, .xm, .mod (For it2xm use modplug)
- Search and download them on the 'ALL Utilities' section on BuzzMachines.com
---
Must use a multichannel .mid, if you are using an 'all in one track' midi file (like ringtones) don't expect good results
---
It is tough to transfer (almost impossible) track commands .... it was desgined just for note transfer from xm, mid to bmx
---
3.62 and earlier have been said to not work on WinXP although they worked fine for me ;)
---
In version 3.63, most machines were removed, so that we could use MC-1 to transfer notes to other machines - this is NOT the only method, you will just need to find an older machines.ini for m2buzz (different than the one for buzz) to help allow note transfer into other machines
---
Remove Midi Guidelines from your midi file in a midi editor or m2buzz will crash
---
Can M2buzz translate pitchbends?
As far as i know, M2Buzz does NOT support pitch bend.
---
I updated m2buzz to the latest version but, then almost all machines where gone in the machines.ini file!

So how do I get all machines back? Do I have to do it manually by myself or is there a file that does it for me, or is there somebody who has a good machines.ini file?
---
Thoke's m2buzz .Ini Files - I copied both ini files to Buzz's main directory and the entry in the rebuzz.ini looks like this:
file1=\Tools\M2Buzz\m2bvc.exe
name1=Import MIDI file
type1=1
---
First beat only ?
Uncheck "start with first beat"
And use the delay option 1.00 (otherwise it will make strange patterns)
---
It dosent work for some reason. It says that all of the machines either have 8 or less channels. How do i fix this? - Use different machines
---
C:\Program Files\Jeskola Buzz\Tools\M2Buzz
Locations of "b2b1.bmx", "b2b2.bmx"
---
Xm2bmx (Fasttracker to Buzz)
Why do patterns not appear on the f4 screen ?
The patterns are not on any sixteenth row,(0,16,32,48,64 and so on) which means you have to change step size in the sequencer editor to a smaller tick number to see them
---
M2buzz quick reference
1. Open Buzz and save an empty bmx file with only the master

2. Open M2Buzz and select the xm file as the source file

3. For the output file select the empty bmx file

4. Select the generator to use for the tracks (Matilde if you want to use the same samples)

5. Select if you whant to convert each track into the generators or each sample (if you choose each sample, then you have all the samples isolated and more power to focus effects on some specific sample). I always choose this option

6. Press convert and the empty bmx is now full with generators
7. Open both Buzz and m2buzz at the same time to check the generated bmx
---
I have Buzz installed on 3 machines with the same setup. On one machine it crashes with similar messages .error in P.Dooms hack sync ect... noone else seems to have that problem - remove it from your machines.ini
---
I can't convert any midi-file with m2buzz 3.63. buzz crashes or produce rubbish in the pattern-section. i never had have problems with this program, but now it doesn't work for any file. Am i doing something wrong? Where can i get an older version?
3.62 - >
M2buzz Verion 3.62 here
---
I want to be able to import .xm files using M2Buzz but it doesn't list some of the more recent machines (such ld jacinth.) How do I remedy this?
- Use the older ini files listed above
---
M2buzz works fine for me. You have to save an empty bmx from buzz and then select it as the output from the xm
---
Of course, m2buzz can be running without buzz.exe being open
