Cheapo amp with inertia is my prefered way, as it has the option of fading either linear or exponentially + tons of other tweaks if you check it's attributes (intertia in ticks or ms, inertia 'envelopes') --- Instead, I'd reconnect all machines from master to either a mixer or cheapo's do-nothing and fade its track instead. This way you can turn down the master volume via GUI without having to fear that it jumps back to full when the fade starts. ---- I used to always ctrl b+e+i in the generator itself. but i discovered autofade works really well sometimes. especially for fade-ins. still just type it in for shorter fades though. --- Cheapo Do-nothing: only a "(MachineName) Amp" parameter to fill in with the usual "Ctrl+B / Ctrl+E / Ctrl+I" trick once you've set your initial and final amplitude...But I also use DedaCode Fade! --- Many machines for this - Decacode's Fade, other Fade machines --- |
