Index.txt

The Index.txt is very important, it is what comes up when you right click on f3 in the machine view. It will display your buzz generators, buzz effects, vsts, templates, etc. If an item is in black, you have it installed correctly. If an item appears grey/unclickable - you are missing it and should search it down on buzzmachines.com
You can configure the file c:\buzz\gear\index.txt to your liking. But you can also be lazy and rely on other buzz user's index.txt. There are a few different versions available
Most will require Overloader 1.5L7 or later.
Buzz Overloader 1.50m

Check the indexes out on Buzzmachines.com
---
A few quick known facts, for overloader, you will need 3 files, and they all go into the \gear folder - index.txt, index.plur, and something.plurimg ... This can be Extremely Effective in avoiding buggy machines, or using the BEST buzzmachines that you can. Too many templates will often cause machines to become greyed out - a better solution to using that many templates is to do this instead of this

Hamst3r Index

This is a very cleaned-up Index.
He's chosen the most important, useful and unique Generators and Effects.

Special Markers:
1. ++ indicates a reccomended machine if you're not sure which one to choose.
2. (basic) means the machine is very simple.
3. (complex) means the machine will probably make your head explode.
4. (glitchy) means the machine is problematic but still included because it's not that bad.

If for some reason you feel you need to use an unlisted gen or effect. I have not removed them. They are in the !!Danger!! section sorted alphabetically. Beta machines are hidden. I highly urge you to NOT use the machines listed under !!Danger!! unless absolutely necissary...90% of the machines listed in !!Danger!! have been rendered obsolete by newer, better, Machines. Learn to use the Newer machines. Don't complain if something in !!Danger!! doesn't work right, crashes, or corrupts your song.

XionD's Indexes

XionD has been keeping an up to date index for a long time now, its very well constructed !
Index.txt:
The Buzz index has been refined in several ways.

FULLindex.txt:
This is the same as index.txt except that all machines (including old versions and Beta's/Alpha's) are listed.

LITEindex.txt:
This an extremely functional and streamlined index.
